Multiplication Quest: instructions and practice

Open Multiplication Quest, check the instructions and begin a round. Complete ten multiplication questions with as many correct answers as possible. Look at what changes after your first action. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

One-to-twelve times-table questions, no timer.

Something to practise

Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Notice the feedback after each input.

Your goal

Complete ten multiplication questions with as many correct answers as possible. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Return to the instructions when a step is unclear.

Start here and follow along

  1. Read the factors.
  2. Enter the product.
  3. Check answer gives immediate feedback.
  4. Ten submissions produce the final score.

Getting comfortable with the controls

Use the number field and Check answer or Enter. Use the control method described here for this activity. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.

A closer look at one example

7 × 8 = 7 × 7 + 7 = 56. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Keep the game’s format in mind.

Notice this detail

An incorrect answer counts as a completed question. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules.
